On December 23, the world's first white paper on vehicle-infrastructure collaboration technology innovation, "Key Technologies and Prospects of Vehicle-Infrastructure Collaboration for Autonomous Driving" (hereinafter referred to as "White Paper 2.0"), was upgraded to version 2.0. The White Paper is one of the most authoritative reports in the concerned research field in the world, led by academician Ya-Qin Zhang and jointly compiled by AIR, Baidu Apollo, China Academy of Information and Communication Research, China Information Communication Technologies, China Unicom and more than 10 other industry partners. The White Paper 2.0 further discusses the inevitability of the development route of Vehicle-Infrastructure Cooperative Driving (VICAD) in China, proposes safer and more generalized autonomous driving technology solutions and implementation paths, accelerates the commercialization process of full-grade autonomous driving in China.
