Yunxin Liu  Principal Investigator/Guoqiang Professor

Dr. Yunxin Liu is a Guoqiang Professor and Principal Investigator at Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University. He joined Tsinghua University in April 2021, prior to which he was a Principal Research Manager at Microsoft Research Asia. His research interests are mobile/edge computing, with the recent focus on intelligent edge/mobile systems. His work has been published in top conferences and journals including MobiSys, MobiCom, SenSys, TON and TMC, shipped into Microsoft key products such as Visual Studio, and featured in news media worldwide. He received SenSys 2018 Best Paper Runner-up Award, MobiCom 2015 Best Demo Award, and PhoneSense 2011 Best Paper Award. He served as a TPC member of many conferences such as MobiSys, MobiCom, ATC, WWW and INFOCOM. He is serving as a general co-chair of MobiHoc 2021., an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, and a Vice Chair of ACM China Council SIGBED Chapter.
