Yang Liu is GDS Professor.He is Executive Dean of Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR), Tsinghua University,Deputy Director in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University.His research focuses on natural language processing. He has published over 80 papers in leading NLP/AI journals and conferences such as Computational Linguistics, ACL, AAAI, EMNLP, and COLING. He was the recipient of ACL 2017 Outstanding Paper Award, COLING/ACL 2006 Meritorious Asian NLP Paper Award and the National Science and Technology Progress Award second prize. He served as Executive Committee Member of Asia-Pacific Chapter of ACL, Editorial Board Member of Computational Linguistics, and Associate Editor of ACM TALLIP.
