Project BriefOn June 24, Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University (AIR) and Baidu Apollo held a joint conference in Yizhuang, Beijing, to jointly launch the world's first white paper on technology innovation of Intelligent Vehicle Infrastructure Cooperation(IVIC): Key Technologies and Prospects of IVIC for Autonomous Driving".
Under the guidance of Beijing Yizhuang, Guangzhou Huangpu and other urban areas, Baidu Apollo is also using IVIC to carry out test verification and demonstration operations for large-scale commercial implementation of autonomous driving, helping pioneering cities to realize transformation of intelligent transportation at an early date.
In the future, AIR will keep close collaboration with Baidu to share information and complement each other's scientific research results, jointly explore the frontier technology of IVIC, help the large-scale commercial implementation of autonomous driving in China, accelerate the intelligent upgrade of urban transportation, and contribute to the Chinese solution of “Intelligent Connection of Smart Bicycle".
