Professor Ma Wei-Ying, Professor Liu Jingjing, and Associate Professor Zhou Hao, along with a research team from theShanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, have launched the BFN series of works at Tsinghua University’s Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR). This series presents the first unified molecular modality drug design model beyond previously established generative models such as Diffusion and Flow Matching. The work marks a breakthrough in molecular structure modeling, demonstrating exceptional advantages in both unconditional and target-specific molecular generation tasks.
