Project BriefGeneBERT Project won the Annual Championship of DeeCamp2021, with Prof. Yanyan Lan from Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University(AIR) as the instructor. On August 17, the DeeCamp2021 Artificial Intelligence Training Camp Champion Defense&Closing Ceremony, jointly organized by Sinovation Ventures and AIR, ended successfully.
Four groups of track champions and the overall champion of the competition were decided in the finals. GeneBERT, a gene diagnosis solution, won the double champion" of the competition. In addition to winning the annual championship and the grand prize of 100,000 RMB, it also won the sub-tract championship along with the financial document event extraction system "Point to Gold "In order to achieve the goal of the competition, the GeneBERT project also won the "double championship". In addition to the annual champion and the grand prize of 100,000 RMB, GeneBERT also won the sub-track champion and the prize of 30,000 RMB with three other projects, including extraction system of financial document event, "Everything Becomes Gold(Dian Shi Cheng Jin)”, "AI Recommendation(AI Jian)", a marketing short text generation system, and “Click”, an intelligent teaching aid. Aside from GeneBERT, three other top-performing teams won the sub-track championship."
