Project BriefRecently, the Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University (AIR) and China Resources Life Sciences Group Co., Ltd. established the Joint Research Center of Artificial Intelligence & Life and Health. Professor Liu Yang, Associate Dean of AIR, has been appointed as the Director of the Joint Center. The first meeting of the Joint Research Center Management Committee was held at the Institute for AI Industry Research, Tsinghua University (AIR).
Ya-Qin Zhang, co-director of the Center’s Management Committee, pointed out in the meeting that the Joint Research Center will focus on exploring new innovation models, achieving breakthroughs in original basic theories, creating innovative core technologies that are universal, and promoting the development of industry and economy.Yan Jianguo, co-director of the center's management committee, pointed out that the center should target core breakthrough points in three research directions, explore the cross-cutting integration of AI technology and demand scenarios of life and health, and to achieve effective transformation featuring the coordinated efforts of enterprises, university, research institutions and consumers.
