The 16th DISCOVER LAB Young Scientists Forum was successfully held on the morning of December 8. We were honoured to have Dr. LINGHU Changyang, Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, to give a fascinating presentation on "Listening to the Symphony of Brain Signals". In this presentation, Dr. LINGHU introduced his research and his team's research on the "symphony" of signals in biological systems, fluorescent probes for spatial discretization and whole brain signal observation. In particular, Dr. LINGHU focused on the design of spatially discrete probes and how to achieve large-scale reading of cellular signals through protein self-assembly. At the end, Dr. LINGHU shared with us his current work on cellular signal observation and had a lively discussion with the students on the content of the presentation.
