On March 10-11, the first high-level closed-door forum on AI security in China, known as the “Beijing AI Security International Dialogue”, was held. The event was attended by Zhang Ya-Qin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Dean of the Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR) at Tsinghua University. The dialogue was initiated by the Institute of Wisdom, with Professor Zhang Hongjiang, Chair of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Institute of Wisdom, and Turing Award laureate Yoshua Bengio serving as co-chairs. Over 30 experts, including Geoffrey Hinton, Andrew Yao, Stuart Russell, Fu Ying, and Xue Lan, participated in the event, aiming to foster collaboration between domestic and international AI security efforts.
